My Journey Through Impostor Syndrome

I help business owners scale sustainably. I bring clarity to chaos, build dream teams, and bring Visionary Founders the freedom they’ve been chasing. My work has helped companies grow revenue, scale operations, and finally gain traction after feeling stuck for far too long.

And yet, despite these consistent, tangible results—I used to feel like a fraud.

That’s the sneaky grip of impostor syndrome. It doesn’t care about your accomplishments, your degrees, or how many lives you’ve transformed. It whispers lies like, “You’re not enough,” “You just got lucky,” or “Eventually they’ll figure you out.”

Even after helping over 20 companies implement EOS®, even after serving as a strategic operations leader across industries around the globe, I still had moments where I’d question my worth. My courage. My place at the table.

And then, my amazing coach, Dr. Lisa Yeung, dropped a game-changer into my world: Worthy by Jamie Kern Lima.

Wow. Life. Changer.

Reading Jamie’s story—this powerhouse woman who built a billion-dollar makeup brand and still felt unworthy—was like finally seeing myself in someone else’s story. I wasn’t alone. I wasn’t weak. And I definitely wasn’t the scaredy-cat I thought I was.

I am actually a super courageous bad@$$.

Not because I never felt fear, but because I kept showing up despite it. Every single time I shakily put one foot in front of the other—whether it was leading a quarterly session, coaching a Visionary through hard decisions, or helping a team push through growing pains—I was proving fear wrong.

Worthy reminded me that self-worth isn’t something you earn by checking off accomplishments. It’s something you claim.

Today, I no longer let impostor syndrome run the show. When the doubt creeps in (and yes, it still tries), I acknowledge it—but I don’t believe it. I have the receipts. I have the impact. And now, I have the perspective.

If you’ve ever felt like an impostor—even when your track record says otherwise—I see you. You’re not alone. And you are so Worthy.

Keep going. One shaky step at a time.

And, if you feel like you can relate, I HIGHLY recommend reading Worthy.

xo,

Lisa
